Window Tint

You want your car to survive as long as possible because it’s a precious possession. It’s a smart idea to get your car’s windows tinted by a professional to keep your investment safe. A windshield sun protector or parking in the shade can decrease sun damage for a short period of time, but window film is a long-term solution that protects your car’s interior from fading and discoloration. It helps keep the interior of your automobile appearing newer for longer by preventing cracking and warping. In addition to reducing glare from the sun and headlights at night, window tinting reduces eye strain caused by glare from the windshield.

What is a Window Tint?

Tinted windows are those in which a polyester sheet has been applied to cover the glass, in order to generate a change in visual, chemical, and safety terms. Tinted glass does not necessarily fulfill aesthetic functions, since it is not limited to having beautiful and attractive colors, but rather it fulfills everything necessary to generate a healthy, comfortable and much safer environment than a simple glass.

What does Window Tint consist of?

Broadly speaking, we can indicate that window tinting consists of the application of a very high-resistance polyester sheet on the inside face of a glass. The advantage of being a polyester sheet* is that whatever the size of the glass, or its shape, this sheet will adhere to it, accommodating its design and length.

Window Tint service for all types of vehicles, we use 3M Ceramic IR / Flex Film paper.

The sheets with which the tinted windows are covered are made up of different components in the form of a “sandwich”. The purpose of the sheet will depend on these components, be it safety, reflective, to reject heat, etc.

How is it done?

A polarizing sheet is adhered to a glass. First, the glass must be one hundred percent clean and dry, for this we must clean and dry it thoroughly, so that there is no dirt between the sheet and the glass. Then the sheet must be prepared in order to have it ready to adhere to the glass, that is, stretch it, cut it, etc. You must prepare a mixture of water with detergent, and with a sprayer spray it on the glass, this is to use it as “glue” so that the polyester adheres to the glass. Finally, with a plastic pen, excess water must be removed until the sheet is fully adhered without imperfections. This achieves a perfect polarized .
